The family spokesperson for the late Governor Nderitu Gachagua has told off members of the county assembly who have said that they will not attend the burial. The deceased’s younger Brother Rigathi Gachagua  who has been accused by a section of the MCAs of issuing the threats has dismissed those claims. Speaking in Hiriga where the late Nderitu Gachagua will be buried , Rigathi said that the MCAs are feeling guilty for what they did to the governor while he was still alive and they are now just giving excuses to skip the burial.  The family is expecting about 40,000 mourners in Hiriga on Monday when the late governor will be buried. Before his death, he had expressed his wish to be buried next to his father the Late Nahashon Nderitu who died in 2014.
