The Jubilee party and the independent electoral and boundaries commission have agreed to pick a six  member team to hammer out a deal that would allow the commission conduct the party’s nominations without infringing on the law.  IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebukati says the commission might be forced to borrow funds from the national treasury to carry out the nominations. In the same breath the united democratic movement presidential candidate Philip Murgor says IEBC should be ready to fund and conduct nominations for all other political parties should the commission support jubilees’ proposal.
