KTN Prime: Good day for Kenyan port officials as Ivory from Singapore gets impounded to Cambodia

The Kenya revenue authority has seized two containers containing elephant tusks at the port of Mombasa. According to the commissioner of operations David Yego KRA was acting on an intelligence report that led to the seizing of 8 more containers leaving the port of Mombasa. The two containing elephant tusks had already left and it took the intervention of the Singapore government to have the containers sent back to Kenya. The tusks were headed to Cambodia via Singapore. Investigations are ongoing on the origin of the said containers disguised as agricultural produce
