Former president Daniel Moi challenges public universities to provide education of high standard

Former president Daniel Moi has challenged the government to ensure that public universities provide education of a high standard to help Kenya grow. noting that poor quality education was dangerous to the country, Moi urged stakeholders in education sector to recommend that the highest standards possible are shared by all learning institutions from nursery school to the highest level. The former head of state hailed the government's effort to monitor the recent national examinations, and block loop-holes to exam-cheating. He spoke at the Kabarak University where a total of 777 graduates were conferred with degrees in various fields of study.
