Kenya Airways Cargo now exports Kenyan-cut flowers to Sydney and Melbourne Australia

Kenya Airways Cargo is now exporting Kenyan cut flowers to the Australian cities of Sydney and Melbourne after a market research identified the two cities as key markets for flowers. To this effect KQ has partnered with Australian airline Qantas Airways to airlift flowers via Johannesburg into Sydney and Melbourne. The new market opportunity will see KQ cargo carry over 30 tons of flowers into Australia every month as the national carrier seeks to increase revenues as part of its turnaround strategy.
