South Africa reported 354 news coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, its highest jump to date, bringing the total number to 5,350. In a Twitter post, the country’s health department said the figure represented a 73 percent on the previous day, adding that death toll had risen by 10 to 103. It also said the total number of tests conducted to date was 197,127, of which 11,630 were done in the last 24 hours.
