The current policy environment does not support the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs . according to a new index on MSME policy released by the Kenya private sector alliance (KEPSA), the government needs to review its policies and strengthen them to enable the sector to grow. the index focused on 8 key dimensions including the regulatory environment, infrastructure input access cost, human capital, access to finance and effective representation.
