People Living with Disabilities push to bridge inclusivity gap

Every year December 3rd is set aside as the International Day for Persons Living with Disabilities. Among many things, the day largely seeks to bridge the gap of inclusivity. Whereas at primary and secondary schools, efforts have been made to attempt to address education needs of pupils and students living with disabilities, there seems to be very little ground covered at tertiary levels. And as the world prepares to observe that day this coming Tuesday, Shadrack Mitty looks at how some organisations and universities have begun putting deliberate plans in place with a view to improving transitions and enrolment of students living with disabilities to universities
