Six Kipsigis women win land case against brothers

A woman, in Kericho County, has made history, after she sued her brother over land succession. Rachel Korir, aged 72 years, from the Kipsigis community, went to court seeking equal rights as her two brothers, to inherit the 42 acres of land valued at over 10 million, left by her deceased father. The High court ruled that Rachel and her 5 sisters were entitled to the land.
