The head of state while announcing a stern warning to people engaging in corruption also called on all Kenyans to unite against the vice. He invited the public to report cases of graft to the media, yes, the media and civil society to unmask the corrupt. The President is on record chiding the media on focusing too much on corruption saying such media reports scare away investors. The President has also, severally, condemned civil society organization for speaking truth to power.
