Idriss Mukhtar’s family fights for justice

They say only your family will stick with you through thick and thin. This adage appears to have come true for Idriss Mukhtar who survived a bullet in August this year and is currently lying in a coma.

Pricked by his son's situation, Dr. Aden Mukhtar has now taken an early retirement from his job and is fighting for his son's cause by moving to court to file a constitutional petition challenging the academic credentials of Garissa governor Ali Korane.

Here's KTN senior political affairs reporter Duncan Khaemba had an exclusive interview with the senior Mukhtar, just before leaving the country for India where his son Idriss is hospitalized.
