NTSA Director General Mr Francis Meja says PSV operators must comply to the new matatu rule by 12th

6th November, 2018

The crack down on public service vehicles entered day two today and various government agencies set out to meet matatu Saccos. National transport and safety authority director general Francis Meja has warned PSV operators against laxity on Traffic regulations. Meja says that operators evading the Law have their days numbered since the authority leans on an integrated digital system of capturing vehicles data. Meja stated the various lapses that authorities seek to weed out of the roads come Monday 12th, when the return of the so called Michuki rules take effect. Meja spoke during a meeting between representatives of interior Coordination and ministry of roads and officials of PSV Saccos here in Nairobi.
