I send my deepest condolences to the friends and families who have lost their loved ones in the horrific accident that occurred at Fort Tenan. May the souls of all the departed rest in eternal peace. I appeal to police officers to arrest the return of madness on our roads. - Raila Odinga

“I send my heartfelt condolences to families who lost their loved ones following the Londiani?Muhoroni road accident this morning. I also wish the survivors undergoing treatment in various hospitals speedy recovery. The loss of lives is devastating especially to the families and shocking to the nation. I appeal to motorists to be careful on the roads and at all time observe road safety rules. Police should also continue to be vigilant in our roads to ensure compliance to traffic rules by road users. I wish to also call on the doctors attending to the  survivors to diligently do their best to save their lives.” - Gideon Moi, Baringo Senato

This devastating accident is yet another blot of the country’s traffic enforcement agencies. The scene of the disaster is a known blackspot that remains unmanned even as the death toll from accidents at the spot has continued to increase.  Musalia Mudavadi, ANC Party Leader
