Residents in arid and semi-arid areas can now breathe a sigh of relief thanks to the introduction of a new technology that produces rain in a bid to boost food security. The company registered under mid weather needs two months to set up equipment and make rainfall in a dry area within a span of between 25 to 30 minutes using technology. According to Thomas demmel the managing director of the mother company from Germany, research has been done in three countries on the possibilities of making rain and succeeded. In Kenya, they were exploring project fields which can be viable for such projects particularly a section of the a.s.a.ls areas which have challenges of accessing water
