Bachelor MP Ng'eno , 44, set to wed Ntutu today after years of ridicule

Emurua Dikir Member of Parliament (MP) Johana Ng'eno is set to marry the love of his life Naiyanoi Ntutu today August 18, 2018.

The 44-year-old Ng'eno is set to walk down the aisle at the Emurua Dikir Secondary school and the reception held at the same venue.

The MP who has over the years been belittled for being a senior bachelor in Parliament, formally asked for Naiya Ntutu's hand in marriage after leading a power team for dowry negotiation at Livingstone ole Ntutu's homestead on Friday, June 2nd 2018.

Mr Ngeno's group comprised Energy Cabinet Secretary Charles Keter, MPs Oscar Sudi (Kapseret), Alfred Keter (Nandi Hills), Sabina Chege (Murang'a), Wilson Sossion (Nominated) and the Deputy President's aide Faruk Kibet among others. 

In pictures seen by Ureport, the occasion is thoroughly prepared for and top Government officials expected to grace it. The pictures in our possession show cows and tents being put up for the event.

President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto, Opposition leader Raila Odinga and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi are among top dignitaries expected to attend the wedding.

Speaking to a local daily on Thursday, Ng'eno said more than 100 senators, MPs and women representatives will attend his wedding.

"Preparations are in top gear. Everyone is welcome to celebrate with us as we take our marriage vows," he said.

Ntutu is the daughter of former Narok Senator Stephen Ole Ntutu.
