22 suspects in the multi-billion National Youth Service scandal will spend the next seven days in police remand as they wait to know whether they will be released on bail or not. This followed last night’s order by chief magistrate Douglas Ogoti who rejected bail application by suspects’ lawyers. Suspended public service principal secretary Lilian Omollo who was among the remanded suspects has been admitted to hospital after she fell ill.
