Three children reported dead while more than 250 families displaced by raging floods in Kilifi

Three children have been reported dead while more than 250 families have been displaced by raging floods in Magarini, Kilifi County after river Sabaki broke its banks following the ongoing heavy rains. The children are said to have been swept by flash floods in Kisiki cha Mzungu area in Magarini constituency Kilifi county. Reports from the ground indicate that an entire sub location consisting of three schools and a dispensary has been isolated and as such remain inaccessible. Two camps have been set up to assist those affected by the floods.
