KTN Prime: Senator Orengo gives President Uhuru ultimatum on IEBC reforms, September 24th 2016

24th September, 2016

Even as Moses Kuria expressed doubts over the possibility of getting a new electoral commission in time, the Siaya senator James Orengo, who was a co-chair in the joint parliamentary select committee on IEBC reforms, has said there is still a small window left. Orengo however warned that if the executive does not release the funds to send the current commissioners home by Monday, then the opposition will go back to the streets to demand the IEBC reforms. He was speaking in Mtongwe.
