In the recent past kenyans have witnessed increased cases of fire outbreaks which have been made worse by the current dry spell in the country. As a result the government has declared a fire season and urged for caution as a measure to reduce the risk of fire outbreak. Game parks and wildlife reserves are worst hit with the dry vegetation in the vast land fanning the inferno. On eco-journal tonight, ktn's christine ndiritu assesses the loss caused by the wild fires.
