Low infrastructural upgrades and dev't occasioned by inadequate funding hampers CBC implementation

As term one of the 2021 academic calendar begins, the period running up to December 2022 will be crucial for the government in meeting timelines, on the implementation of the competency-based curriculum. The task force report on the CBC indicates that by now additional classrooms should have been constructed to cater for the anticipated double intake in 2026. And as KTN's Shadrack Mitty reports, while there have been efforts to build more classrooms, the low pace of other infrastructural upgrades and development, occasioned by inadequate funding may hamper the smooth implementation of the new system.
