Court of appeal begins hearings in case involving contested laws, between senate , National Assembly
23 laws declared unconstitutional by the high court will remain operational until November 5th, when the court of appeal will deliver its judgment. This follows the extension of the lifeline of the laws which was to elapse this Thursday. In October last year, the high court nullified 23 acts passed by the national assembly without involving the Senate, after the Senate moved to court to contest the national assembly's decision.
