KNUT Wrangles: Faction vows to go ahead with polls as Health Ministry issues KNUT greenlight

22, Jun 2021

Differences in the once giant teachers union, KNUT are deepening by the day as the scheduled elections day draws closer. Knut National Chairman Collins Oyuu now accuses the union’s secretary general Wilson Sossion of developing election fever and is planning to disrupt the exercise which he has vowed to counter. Oyuu says the letter Sossion wrote to Health Ps Susan Mochache was secretive and in bad faith and thus does not represent the views of the union. This as the ministry of health gives the union the green light to proceed with the election but in strict conformity with the covid-19 protocols.
