President Uhuru takes a fresh swipe at DP Ruto over the second in command's campaign promises

3rd July, 2022

President Uhuru Kenyatta today took a fresh swipe at his deputy William Ruto over the second in command's campaign promises. According to President Kenyatta, it is ironic that DP Ruto is pledging to transform the country yet he had the opportunity to do so as the country's second in command for the past nine years. While urging Kenyans to make the right choices on the ballot come August 9th, the head of state, in a subtle attack directed at DP Ruto, cautioned voters against electing leaders who have nothing to show for, it despite being in government for long.
