Cracked Jubilee party renews strength as President Uhuru meets MPs at State House

Tonight President Uhuru Kenyatta has officially kicked off efforts to revamp the Jubilee party ahead of the upcoming elections. President Kenyatta chaired a Jubilee party’s parliamentary group meeting at state house, Nairobi ahead of the party’s forthcoming national delegates conference where he is likely to endorse ODM leader Raila Odinga as his preferred successor and as KTN’s political affairs reporter Daniel Kariuki reports, sources say the president will use the NDC to explain his reasons for backing Raila’s candidature as well as unveil his planned tours of Mount Kenya region to rally support for the opposition leader.
