Price of cooking gas to rise after introduction of 16% V.A.T on Liquefied petroleum gas

The expected introduction of a 16 percent value-added tax on cooking gas starting July 1st, will see the product rise by between 100 to 300 shillings. This will see more Kenyans struggle to balance between buying gas and putting food on the table.
