Probing KEMSA: Suppliers to be paid all their dues despite illegalities in tendering

Entities that supplied COVID related materials to the Kenya medical supplies authority that's KEMSA will be paid their dues despite the illegality of the tendering process. speaking before parliament's public investments committee, solicitor general Kennedy Ogeto said that the government was tied by law to pay what it owes, adding that such payments would follow market prices as opposed to the amounts agreed upon during negotiations.
