A section of KANU leaders from Mt Kenya region are demanding that deputy president William Ruto resigns from the government and join the opposition following his constant criticism of the government. The leaders are also unhappy over attacks directed at the president by his allies. They dared the Tangatanga legislators to leave the the house and seek re election outside the jubilee party that sponsored them to parliament. Speaking in Nairobi today, the leaders said they are fully behind Kanu chairman Gideon Moi in his quest for presidency
