Thousands of grade four and class eight learners across the country will, beginning tomorrow, start tackling assessment tests, just a week after reopening. The Kenya national examination council has termed the assessments as formative, seeking to establish the entry behaviors of learners after being out of school for so long. But as Shadrack Mitty reports, the administration of these exams could just be another big test for many schools still struggling with the high costs of downloading examination materials from the KNEC exam portal.
