Walking with Moi: Reflections of Moi's close contacts, Kenyans to mark Huduma Day on Saturday

07, Oct 2020

Kenyans will on Saturday commemorate Huduma day, a public holiday set aside to celebrate Kenya’s spirit of service and volunteerism. The holiday initially titled Moi day was renamed into Huduma day, in line with the wishes of former president the late Daniel Arap Moi, to capture the Kenyan spirit of generosity and service to humanity. In our continuing special series in honor of the former president who passed away in February this year, we  capture the reflections of key persons, that either worked or came into close contact with the former president.
