Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua has shocked her friends in the opposition by declaring she will support president Uhuru Kenyatta in his 2017 re-election bid. Karua has said she has never been a part of the opposition coalition cord, nor does she have anything to do with the envisioned national opposition super alliance. Karua who is planning to run for governorship in Kirinyaga next year says her supporters have told her she must support Uhuru if she wants their backing. She was speaking in Kirinyaga after a consultative meeting with Narc Kenya delegates from Gichugu.
