The supremacy wars between members of jubilee and Chama cha Mashinani in the south rift have taken an ugly turn after Bomet governor Isaac Ruto sustained injuries when a tear gas canister landed on his face. The governor who is now admitted at Nairobi hospital accused the jubilee administration of using the police to frustrate and intimidate its rivals. And as Chris Thairu reports, the attack has been condemned by a cross section of leaders with Baringo senator Gideon Moi calling for action against police officers involved.
