Retirement age ruling to be made tomorrow by court of appeal
28th January, 2016
Deputy chief justice Kalpana Rawal will know her fate at the judiciary. The court of appeal is tomorrow set to make a ruling in a case in which the deputy CJ wants to serve four more years and retire at the age of 74. This contrary to her employer, the judicial service commission, who wants her out immediately after she recently attained the age of 70. Others who want to hang on beyond 70 years include justices Phillip Tunoi and David Onyancha.
