Political double speak: George Aladwa expected in court on Friday over incitement to violence

Let’s stay with the matter of hate speech. Now former Nairobi Mayor George Aladwa is expected in court on Friday to face incitement to violence charges. Aladwa who was arrested 12 days ago but later released was summoned to appear in court over utterances he made at a public rally. Aladwa has since disowned the statement saying he was misunderstood. Well Aladwa is among a list of politicians who say one thing, but when their statements land them in trouble, they quickly disown or give new meaning to their utterances.
