Focus shifts to the Court of Appeal as proponents of the Building Bridges Initiative seek to obtain stay orders to bar the implementation of the high court ruling that termed the BBI unconstitutional. The spotlight will not only be on the case itself but also on the bench that will sit to determine the appeal. The court of appeal is currently operating without a substantive president after Justice William Ouko was appointed to the supreme court.
