11th September, 2016

Homeboyz RFC is the winners of the inaugural Nanyuki sevens after beating KCB RFC 10-0 in the final at the Nanyuki Sports Club. Homeboyz took a 5-0 the lead in the first half through Humprey Owuor’s unconverted try.  KCB failed to capitalize on the one-man advantage as Humphrey Mulama doubled the lead through his try.  The win means that the deejays have now won three legs of the five played and are in pole position to win the overall title come next weekend during Christie’s sevens where they will be seeded top. Impala defeated Mwamba in the third place play off as Queens won the plate cup.
