The national development implementation communication cabinet committee conducted a tour Kenya’s electricity transmission hub, Suswa substation complex; which hosts the largest converter station in Africa. The visit unearthed massive progress in ensuring availability of efficient, reliable and available electricity supply to the country, this comes at a time Kenyans are grappling with high electricity cost with the latest epra data showing a spike in fuel cost charge rising by two shillings and sixty one cents per kilowatt hour.
