Three people have died in a grisly road accident along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway after a vehicle they were travelling in lost control and crushed by the roadside.

Six others were seriously injured after the accident near Raini trading centre 10kms from Naivasha..

The accident occurred after the Nissan that was headed to Naivasha from Nairobi hit a speed-bump and lost control before crushing by the roadside.

According to James Kabono from Naivasha Safety Group, the three died on the spot while the injured were rushed to Naivasha sub-county hospital.

"It seems like the driver was new on the route and he hit the bump in very high speed leading to the accident," he said.
