Residents say rising cases of dumped bodies tainting image of Naivasha town

NAIVASHA, KENYA: Residents of Naivasha are up in arms over rising cases of dumped bodies along major roads in the town.

They noted that the victims, the majority being middle-aged men, were often murdered elsewhere and the bodies ferried to the area, adding this was spoiling the town's image.

The police on Wednesday said identifying the bodies, some of which were burnt with chemicals, and informing relatives, was becoming a burden.
