Teachers Service Commission boss Nancy Macharia has urged stakeholders to seek ways of improving national exams performance.
Ms Macharia called for ways of curbing the sorry state of affairs in KCSE performance. “We need to reflect very hard on how to address this unacceptable state of affairs. Something needs to be done before it is too late,” she said.
She was speaking during the Kigumo Sub-County Education Day at Kigumo Bendera Secondary School. Area MP Jamleck Kamau said the region has been on a steady improvement in the past four years.
“We used to be the last in Murang’a County, but through our combined efforts we have ranked position one for four consecutive years,” Kamau said. Senator Kembi Gitura and Women Rep Sabina Chege were also present.
