Family's house torched over devil worshipping claims

A family in Othaya has been left homeless after irate villagers torched their house on allegations that a relative was a devil worshipper.

Paul Waiganjo has also been accused of peddling bhang and is said to be a child molester.

The family luckily survived as Waiganjo is said to have moved his family days after getting wind of the planned invasion.

However, Waiganjo refuted the claims. He said a group of young men armed with crude weapons had once attacked him and he suffered minor injuries.
