Public Service Commission re-advertises Principal Secretary post over skills gaps

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has re-advertised the position of Principal Secretary in the Public Service.

In a statement to The Standard on Saturday, PSC Secretary Alice Odwala, said the commission advertised and concluded the processing of applications for the above post on May 26, 2015, but they identified some knowledge and skills gaps.

"From the analysis of applications received, certain knowledge and skills gaps in specialisations, which are required for appointment to the position of Principal Secretary, in some of the State Departments were identified," said Ms Odwala.

She urged interested parties to submit their applications by July 3, 2015.
