Develop and increase sales business by targeting suitable clients.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Identify sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain long client relationships with new existing businesses.
  • Meet profit target and ensure a sustainable growth.
  • Work and coordinate with other departments to ensure quality services required by customers are delivered.
  • Ensure that prospects are well managed and maintained throughout their life span.
  • Ensure that all procedures and documentation pertaining to any sales are duly completed.
  • Maintain an awareness of local market competition conditions and industry trends.
  • Visit prospects for unit sales.
  • Answer all phone calls and give out information as dictated by policy/procedure.
  • Track what prospects are saying about us and follow up after they have visited Simba Corp.
  • Shop competition through phone calls and visit on a regular basis.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge of the brand of vehicles associated with the company to ensure a superior customer experience.
  • Communicate to prospects in person, over the phone and/or in writing the available units, service available, and terms of lease.
  • Compile and update listings of prospects.
  • Managing and keeping our customers CRM/diary up to date and responding to customers in good time.
  • Assist with the composition of newspaper advertisements.
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations.
  • Ensure pre delivery inspection and any repairs and/or servicing are carried out and the customer is notified of any delays.
  • Inspecting vehicles pre-delivery to the customer to ensure quality control.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of different cars, their features, and characteristics.
  • Provide a lost sales analysis when a sell is lost.
  • Ensuring compliance with SC regulations including but not limited to Ethics & Integrity Policies.

Required Qualifications and experience:

Academic Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Sales and Marketing or another related course.

Professional Qualifications

  • N/a


  • At least 2 years of experience in automotive sales experience.


  • Strong knowledge on vehicle mechanics
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reporting and Planning capabilities
  • Exceptional negotiation skills.
  • Persuasive and persistent salesperson.
  • Good communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy-MS Office.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Must speak local language in the territory of operation.
