Ensure that all projects are delivered in a consistent manner and according to agreed procedures and specifications.
Respond to customer requirements, liaising with suppliers of raw materials and resolving production problems.
Making improvement or modification to current recipes and process.
Liaising with other departments and ensuring good dialogue and smooth information flow.
Accurately completing all project-related documentation and drafting and signing off product specification sheets.
Organizing schedule for production line testing of products, tasting panels and documenting feedback.
Preparing and dispatching samples to customers.
Identify and correcting quality problems.
Scale up the production process via on the production floor trials, making changes to raw materials or components and process parameters to ensure quality is maintained during large-scale production.
Reporting and Evaluation
Recording and analyzing data.
Assist in generating and presenting results, purposeful reports during the development phases of product and process trials that enables effective decision making in regards costing, ingredient selection, CAPEX and staffing levels.
Assist in conducting relevant process audits, issues structured and meaningful data that provides observations and recommendations that ensures that day to day practices best meet the standard procedures and lead to less quality rejects.
Prepare specification sheets for finished products before handing the recipe to production.
