WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are looking to add an inventory officer to our team who will be responsible for stock reconciliation, tracking of inventory levels and ensuring that teams adhere to inventory standard operating procedures. The officer will also work closely with the Manufacturing and Supply Chain departments to ensure that we maintain sufficient inventory levels at all times to sustain our operations.

THE ROLE IN BRIEF

  • Overseeing and conducting stock takes in order to determine flow of products and expected trends
  • Ensuring accurate daily recording of data into the system
  • Assigning work stations to supervisors and clerks
  • Working with the senior inventory officer to ensure requirements and usage do not exceed budgeted amount
  • Ensuring appropriate and proper storage of materials 
  • Reporting on SKUs purchased and ensuring that they match with quantities declared by suppliers
  • Overseeing the issuance of inventory items to the Production and Retail teams 
  • Verifying physical counts and reconciling stock movement across all storage locations

ARE YOU OUR DREAM CANDIDATE?

  • You possess a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or any other relatable field
  • You have at least two years of progressive experience in a similar role
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office and G-suite 
  • You have great time management and analytical skills
  • You are able to work independently with limited supervision
