We are seeking a Digital Training Consultant who will be a critical part in implementing the consultancy’s digital training programs designed to drive professional transformation in Africa through the Ricasi Talent Development Centre (RTDC).

The responsibilities stretch across the functions of the digital training team; supporting users in learning tools, systems and hardware. The jobholder will report to the Chief Executive Officer and work to ensure learners are supported, proactively communicated with, listened to, and trained to achieve the highest level of excellence through their digital experiences at RTDC.

This will be a significant shift in the prior approach to professional training and digital technology in Africa, and the Digital Training Consultant will have a major responsibility in actively influencing a cultural shift. This culture shift will not only be more digitally enabled, but will support professionals to recognize digital solutions as a strategic enabler in their career development journey.

The Digital Training Consultant will be specifically responsible for developing and leading scalable digital training programs to support young African professionals in acquiring and maintaining the necessary skillsets to be successful in their careers. He/she will also develop training materials, guides, SOPs, policies, and strategy for end-users and create an easily accessible knowledge center of resources. Additionally, he/she will manage a continentally dispersed team of trainers tasked with delivering training and education to users.


Combination of education and work experience in developing and managing modern training programs required.


Ø  Design and provide scalable training solutions such as in-person and virtual trainings, and regular office hours/ one-on-one training for learners at all professional levels.

Ø  Design and provide professional training through best practices and use of case studies to empower young African professional be effective and efficient in the job place.

Ø  Manage a device laboratory to help African professionals learn and adopt mobile devices that enable them to learn from wherever they need.

Ø  Build and maintain strong, trustworthy relationships with users.

Ø  Gather user feedback, monitor, evaluate and report on training programs performance.

Ø  Consistently advocate for learners by having a thorough understanding of the RTDC digital operations to always ensure a positive user experience.

Ø  Ensure training initiatives and execution strategically align with learners’ career development plans.

Ø  Proactively engage and communicate with young African professionals on all RTDC digital training initiatives that impact them as users.

Ø  Utilize multiple digital channels and opportunities to interface with learners during training to help shift the culture of African professionals being engaged in the digital transformation.

Ø  Responsible for the planning, implementation, and definition of success metrics and measuring progress of the digital training program.

Ø  Increase user adoption by creating and implementing strategies to target high-needs users and key stakeholders as well as general users.

Ø  Incorporate user feedback from training and user engagement into communication and knowledge resources for users.

Ø  Serve as a subject matter expert and advise on RTDC tools, hardware and solutions.

Ø  Provide support as needed for communications and help desk management.
