Key responsibilities

  • Identify leads, make a sales pitch and conversion of potential business
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with intermediaries and direct clients
  • Participate in the introduction of new products through regular visits and frequent communication with intermediaries and direct clients
  • Make presentations to scheme members e.g. medical coverage, terms and conditions
  • Service existing business to ensure customer service excellence and satisfaction
  • Preparation and submission of medical tender business
  • Ensure credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors' products
  • Credit control management of medical insurance debtors including follow up of premium collection.
  • Provide coaching and training to our intermediaries on the medical products
  • Achieve agreed production targets
  • Prepare ad-hoc, weekly and monthly reports as may be required.



Knowledge, experience, and qualifications required

  • Bachelors' degree in a business related field
  • Professional qualification in Insurance (ACII, IIK)
  • 2-4 year's relevant experience in the insurance industry
  • A good understanding and competence of medical insurance
