Identify leads, make a sales pitch and conversion of potential business
Develop and maintain good working relationships with intermediaries and direct clients
Participate in the introduction of new products through regular visits and frequent communication with intermediaries and direct clients
Make presentations to scheme members e.g. medical coverage, terms and conditions
Service existing business to ensure customer service excellence and satisfaction
Preparation and submission of medical tender business
Ensure credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors' products
Credit control management of medical insurance debtors including follow up of premium collection.
Provide coaching and training to our intermediaries on the medical products
Achieve agreed production targets
Prepare ad-hoc, weekly and monthly reports as may be required.
Knowledge, experience, and qualifications required
Bachelors' degree in a business related field
Professional qualification in Insurance (ACII, IIK)
2-4 year's relevant experience in the insurance industry
A good understanding and competence of medical insurance
