Key performance areas

Plan and have responsibility for end-to-end visibility, performance and timely delivery of the 2020 Strategy. Specifically:
  • Establish strategy implementation infrastructure
    • Review and prioritize the inventory of strategic initiatives
    • Assess current state of initiatives which are already underway
    • Review and confirm implementation framework and road map
  • Strategy Execution
    • Manage the Annual Planning Processes (the role, supporting the CSO will define planning cycles e.g. quarterly or twice a year)
    • Cascade the EA Strategy initiatives and outcomes – (i.e. updating initiatives, agreeing and prioritizing new initiatives, and ensuring that the initiatives are linked to other processes e.g. budget)
    • Manage initiatives – execution (sprints) and measurement frameworks , performance reporting
    • Communication and stakeholder management (including engagement with the Africa Strategy Unit)
  • Results tracking
    • Develop value tracking model
    • Measure and track progress of the different solutions and developments as well as demonstrate value creation of all initiatives of the 2020Strategy
    • Report on regular basis through appropriate dashboards and reports – establish fact bases and trends to inform/ shape strategic choices and data-backed decision making

  • Bachelor’s Degree;
  • At least 6 years’ experience in the service industry;
  • Excellent report writing skills and thorough knowledge of strategy implementation;
  • Experience in development and delivery of professional presentations; and
  • Demonstrated execution of complex projects within time frames.
Desired Qualification:
  • Master’s Degree
