a) Act as functional lead for Corporation-wide talent planning and performance management.
b) Develop and implement HR Strategies that create a high-performance organizational culture.
c) Develop and implement human resources and administration policies, plans and budgets.
d) Develop and coordinate the implementation of staff induction and on-the-job orientation programmes.
e) Develop and implement staff motivation and retention initiatives to ensure staff are highly engaged.
f) Conduct manpower planning by involving department heads in determining staff requirements.
g) Conduct and assess training needs analysis and baseline attitude surveys in order to design and implement relevant training programmes aimed at building capacity by equipping staff with the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviour in line with the strategic plan
h) Coordinate all recruitment and selection activities.
i) Handle grievances and implement disciplinary procedures.
j) Implement an effective human resource management information system.
a) Master’s degree in Organizational Development or HR Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
b) Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Business Administration, HR or another relevant field from a recognized institution.
c) Professional qualification in human resource management, CHRP or Diploma.
d) Membership to IHRM
e) At least 6 years’ relevant experience with at least 2 years at Management level.
f) Conversant with labour laws.
g) Knowledge of HRIMS.

i) Leadership and strategic thinking skills
j) Counseling skills and of good ethical conduct
k) Good negotiation, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
