Reporting to the Deputy Director, Human Resource and Administration, the Senior Human Resource Officer will be responsible for: -
i. Providing input in the development of the HR strategies, policies and procedures;
ii. Undertaking training needs analysis, projections and develop training programmes
iii. Assisting in recruitment;
iv. Consolidating information for payroll processing;
v. Verifying and maintaining human resource records in an accurate and timely manner;
vi. Providing employee counseling services;
vii. Providing secretariat to the Management Advisory Committee;
viii. Coordinating staff performance appraisal;

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
i. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Human Resource Management or equivalent from a recognized university;
ii. Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution;
iii. Masters Degree in Human Resource Management, or equivalent will be an added advantage;
iv. Membership to a relevant professional body in good standing;
v. Practicing Certificate;
vi. Supervisory course lasting not less two (2) weeks;
vii. At least four (4) years’ relevant work experience in the public or private institution;
viii. Demonstrated results in work performance; and
ix. Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution;
x. Proficiency in ICT;
