GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Developing sales and marketing strategies and setting targets 
  2. Developing sales action plans geared towards increasing sale volume in line with the society’s strategic plan, targets and budgets. 
  3. Allocating areas to sales representatives.
  4. Setting sales targets for individual reps and your team as a whole
  5. Meets sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  6. Increasing business opportunities through segmentation and through various routes to market 
  7. Maintaining and increasing sales of the Society’s products by Establishing, maintaining and expanding the customer base.
  8. Compiling and analyzing sales figures and reporting to senior managers
  9. Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.

 

Marketing & Brand Image 

  1. Accomplishes marketing objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating marketing advertising, merchandising, and promotion programs.
  2. Coming up with the marketing materials of the Society to ensure visual impact in line with the society’s branding guidelines
  3. Support the development of the website and social sites.
  4. Initiate special product and service promotions aimed at increasing revenues as well as promoting the image of the Society. 
  5. Liaising with media and other stakeholders in the Cooperative movement as required to enhance the image of the society 
  6. Representative in Co-operative events where the Society presence is required.

 

Product Knowledge & Market Intelligence

  1. Keeps up to date by maintaining up to date dashboard of all products.
  2. Forecasting projected business
  3. Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements.
  4. Defining market, establishing targeted market share.
  5. Keeps track of competitor's activities, strengths and weaknesses.
  6. Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  7. People Management 
  8. Monitoring your team's performance and motivating them to reach targets. 
  9. Supervise the sale team daily performance; give weekly reports on sales performance. 
  10. In conjunction with CEO spear head the recruitment and training of sales representatives
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
  1. Degree in Sales and Marketing or its equivalent
  2. Minimum 3-years’ experience in sales & marketing in real estate industry
  3. Knowledge of sales & marketing processes and procedures
  4. Works accurately with attention to detail.
  5. Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility in all aspects of working & working environment.
  6. Keeps up-to-date with internal or external activities which may influence role.
  7. Computer literate, including word-processing, electronic mail, spreadsheets and internet/intranet software
  8. Ability to multi-task and get things done to completion
  9. A Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  10. Excellent networking and prospecting skills
  11.
